Rodger Smith is the kind of sales and marketing professional every company wants on their team. The lists of his successes in corporate America and on his own are impressive. His no-nonsense, sincere style is admired by his associates and peers. From 2002 and 2007, Rodger put his extensive experience and big heart to work and built a very large network marketing organization and co-founded the MyMangosteen.com website, re-writing the book on how to succeed in the Direct Sales/Network Marketing industry.
Since then he has has been working with Solution X as a consultant to top distributors and corporate executives at companies like Monavie, Agel, XanGo, NuSkin, Max International, Via Viente, Zrii, exFuze, Kyani, Syntek, New Vision and Tahitian Noni.
At SportsNuts.com as VP of Marketing his business plan was used to acquire over $8 million in private funding. As Director of Marketing for the Ancestry.com business unit of MyFamily.com Smith was responsible for growing revenue from $8 million to $20 million and for increasing the paid subscriber base from 110,000 to over 300,000 in one year, making Ancestry.com #3 in the world for Internet subscription sales. That number grew to over 400,000 under his management. Rodger also brings extensive experience in the high-tech channel marketplace. He held a variety of channel sales and marketing positions with Novell and Novonyx, a Novell/Netscape joint venture where he was responsible for entire distribution segment, which accounted for 60% of total revenue (approx $1.3 billion). He created and implemented initial strategy and programs, negotiated distribution agreements with industry-leading partners, managed multi-million dollar co-op and market development budgets and designed, implemented and managed channel marketing programs and promotions. Rodger has presented at numerous network marketing and technology industry events and seminars and speaks, reads and writes Spanish. His favorite part of success is giving back. He has been able to travel to Honduras and Nicaragua working with Cause for Hope and as well as translating for doctors and medical students serving in the Peruvian Amazon with the Hope Alliance.
A personal trainer and fitness enthusiast, he enjoys strength and cardiovascular training, almost any sport and spending time on the lakes of Utah, Nevada and Arizona with family and friends. |
